Plus-- to add to it all--  I (Joel) used to work as an administrator and clinician in the prison system.  So I knew what jail looked like from a professional's point of view.  But then I saw it from the other side- as a first-time inmate, not knowing how my family and I would deal with all of the challenges associated with being charged with, and convicted of, a crime.

Looking back, if my wife and I hadn't been through these trials, we might never have realized how many individuals and their families need help.

That's why we formed Crisis Recovery Specialists.
